Questions

Asked and answered.

Where does the law actually come from?

Statutes come from government-published bare Acts and the Gazette. Judgments come from official sources. Answers about your own documents come from the document you uploaded. Nothing is recalled from a model's training data and presented as law.

What happens when Aadhrix does not know?

It says so. If a statement cannot be matched to a retrieved source, it is deleted before you see it. You get an incomplete answer with an honest gap instead of a complete answer with an invented citation.

Does Aadhrix give legal advice?

No. Aadhrix explains what published law provides and helps you organise your own documents. It does not assess anyone's case, predict outcomes, recommend a course of action, or apply the law to a person's particular facts. Only an advocate can advise on your situation.

Does Aadhrix help me find a lawyer?

No. Aadhrix does not maintain a directory of advocates, does not recommend, rank or rate advocates, does not display advocates' fees, and does not refer work to anyone. It is a technology platform, not a legal services provider. The choice of advocate is entirely yours.

Can another advocate, or anyone else, see my cases or documents?

No. Separation is enforced by row-level security inside PostgreSQL, so it holds at the database layer rather than depending on application code getting every check right. No advocate on Aadhrix can see a citizen's documents, and Aadhrix does not share them with anyone.

Are client documents used to train the AI?

No. Matters, documents and drafts are never used to train or fine-tune any model, ours or a third party's.

What is the difference between the two accounts?

An advocate account is a workspace for a practice — matters, clients, documents, drafting, fees. A citizen account answers questions about published law and helps organise your own documents. Citizen accounts have no access to any advocate's data, and Aadhrix does not connect the two.

Does this replace an advocate's judgment?

No, and it is not built to. Aadhrix is built for the part before the appointment — retrieving, organising and showing its working. Every authority remains the advocate's to verify before relying on it or filing it, and the conversation with your advocate is still yours to have.

What happens to the documents I upload?

They are stored on Indian infrastructure, used only to answer your own questions, and never used to train any model. You can delete a document or your entire account at any time, and deletion removes the underlying files as well as the record of them.

Does Aadhrix tell me whether I should sign something?

No. It will list every obligation, amount, date, penalty and termination clause a document contains, with the clause reference for each — so you can see exactly what is in it. Whether to sign is a decision to take with an advocate.
