Last updated 12 September 2026. This policy applies to every part of Aadhrix — the advocate workspace and the citizen side alike. It describes what this platform actually collects and does with it, not a generic template.
Your name, mobile number, and — depending on how you sign up — an email address and a password. An advocate account does not require a Bar enrolment number or state of enrolment at signup; those stay optional.
Case and matter details, documents you upload, drafts you write, and questions you ask. This is working legal data, entered by you, for your own use of the platform — not collected from anywhere else.
Login and session activity, so we can keep your account secure and sessions working correctly.
We do not collect payment card details, biometric data, or location data. We do not buy personal data about you from anyone else.
Only to run the platform: to create and secure your account, to store the matters and documents you add, to ground an answer in a published Act or in a document you uploaded, and to keep the service working correctly. Nothing here is collected for advertising, and nothing is sold.
Nobody, as a rule. Aadhrix does not sell personal data, does not run advertising, and does not pass your details to advocates, marketers, or data brokers — Aadhrix does not operate an advocate directory or referral arrangement of any kind (see our Terms of Use). We may disclose information where required by Indian law, such as in response to a valid court order or a lawful demand from a government authority — never as a matter of routine.
90 days, then automatically removed.
Kept for as long as your account exists — hearings, documents, drafts and fee entries are working case data. Removed only when your account is erased.
Which source backed which sentence of an answer or draft is kept permanently and cannot be edited. It does not identify you by name on its own.
There is no single blanket retention number across every table — the categories above are the honest picture, not a rounded-off simplification.
You can ask for a copy of your data, a correction, or full erasure of your account. Most corrections are already available to you directly inside the product, under Settings. Export and erasure are real and complete today — erasure is a genuine, irreversible deletion, not a deactivation — but neither is yet a self-service button inside the product. Write to hello@aadhrix.com to request either, and see our data protection page for more detail on how this fits India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023.
Aadhrix is built for practising advocates and adult members of the public dealing with their own legal matters. It is not directed at, and should not be used by, children.
If this policy changes in a way that matters, we will update the date at the top of this page. Continuing to use Aadhrix after a change means you accept the updated policy.
This page is a plain description of our practices, not a substitute for legal advice. For questions about your own data, write to hello@aadhrix.com.
