Terms of use

The terms under which you use Aadhrix.

Last updated 12 September 2026. By creating an account or using Aadhrix, you agree to these terms.

1. What Aadhrix is

Aadhrix is a technology platform. It is not a law firm, does not provide legal advice or legal services, does not constitute the practice of law under the Advocates Act, 1961, and does not create an advocate–client relationship. Aadhrix does not maintain a directory of advocates and does not recommend, rank, rate, refer or solicit work for any advocate. Nothing on this site is an advertisement for legal services within the meaning of the Bar Council of India Rules.

  • What Aadhrix does. Explains what a document you hold actually says. Extracts obligations, dates and amounts, neutrally. Shows which published Acts and sections apply. States what a statutory time limit provides. Organises your facts, documents and timeline. Shows the source behind every statement.
  • What Aadhrix never does. Advise you on your own legal position. Tell you whether to sign, file, reply or settle. Assess whether your case is strong or weak. Predict an outcome, or estimate what you might recover. Recommend one route over another. Find, choose, rate or compare advocates for you. Act for you, or represent you anywhere.

2. Your account

  1. You must provide accurate information when you create an account and keep it up to date.
  2. You are responsible for keeping your password confidential and for all activity that happens under your account.
  3. Tell us promptly at hello@aadhrix.com if you believe your account has been accessed without your permission.

3. Acceptable use

  1. Do not use Aadhrix for any unlawful purpose, or to upload content you do not have the right to share.
  2. Do not attempt to bypass, disable, or interfere with the safeguards built into the platform, including the boundary described in Section 1 above.
  3. Do not scrape, reverse-engineer, or attempt to extract the underlying data, models, or source code of the platform.
  4. Do not use Aadhrix to impersonate another person, or to misrepresent your own professional status.

4. If you are an advocate

Aadhrix is a working tool, not a substitute for your own professional judgment. Advocates remain responsible for verifying every authority before relying on it or filing it. Aadhrix never charges or shares a fee for legal work, and does not operate any referral or lead-generation arrangement with or for advocates.

5. If you are a member of the public

Nothing Aadhrix shows you is legal advice on your own situation, and using it does not create a lawyer-client relationship with anyone. For advice on what to do about your own matter, consult a practising advocate.

6. Suspension and termination

We may suspend or terminate an account that violates these terms. You may ask us to erase your account at any time — see our Privacy Policy for how.

7. Limitation of liability

Aadhrix provides information, organisation and drafting tools — it does not provide professional advice, and you remain responsible for your own decisions and, where applicable, your own professional judgment as an advocate. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Aadhrix is not liable for any loss arising from reliance on the platform in place of appropriate professional advice, or for any indirect or consequential loss.

8. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of India.

9. Changes to these terms

If these terms change in a way that matters, we will update the date at the top of this page. Continuing to use Aadhrix after a change means you accept the updated terms.
